Daniel L. Kordenbrock joined Meyers & Meyers, PLLC in 2025. His practice focuses on asylum, VAWA, and other matters involving humanitarian immigration law, as well as removal-defense work before the Immigration Court and related agencies. Daniel brings more than a decade of legal experience to the firm, including significant work representing individuals seeking protection from persecution and violence.
Before joining Meyers & Meyers, Daniel served as a Staff Attorney with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), where he represented asylum seekers and other vulnerable noncitizens in a wide range of humanitarian and family-based cases before USCIS and EOIR. He has experience preparing clients for credible-fear and reasonable-fear interviews, drafting asylum applications and supporting affidavits, and guiding individuals through complex humanitarian processes. Daniel’s background includes extensive client-facing work and culturally sensitive representation of individuals from East and Central Africa and other regions.
Daniel is proficient in Kinyarwanda and Kirundi, and conversational in Swahili, which enhances his ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
When not at work, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family outdoors—particularly in the garden, where he grows native plants and grasses.
